Quite a cool take on the origin of the fantastic four’s powers
Mythos: Fantastic Four one-shot (December 2007), script by Paul Jenkins, painted art by Paolo Rivera, letters by Joe Caramagna
There were a few casualties, and even a few lives unfortunately lost, but we must keep our chins up.
Ah, yes, good ol’ Doomy-boy. Can’t say I care to much for the man after the many times he’s tried to off me.
Good grief…I’m sorry, even though it is our line of work.
Mmm. I can’t say I’m thrilled he lives with us some of the time. Or works with us.
Or is really anywhere near us.
Sounds like you both have your hands full then. As for The Avengers, well we’ve had some nasty encounters in the past few weeks, but nothing to report at the moment. Things are quiet for now, but we both know how quickly that can change, right?
As ever, I swear.
Oh? At least everyone’s alright, huh? And of course, don’t remind me. Every time we get to be a (kind-of)normal family I half expect Doom to rampage through telling us he’s changed his mind about being on our side, or some kind of international crisis.
Hey, Sue!
Heya Jess! How’re you?
I’m doing well, thanks. Yourself? How’s Reed doing?
I’m fine, I decided to get dinner together so that everyone can eat as a family for once rather than just dotted around the building. Reed’s scolding Val, actually. She tried to sneak into his lab to steal a bomb…
-coughs-
Good to hear. And Val tried to steal a bomb? Whatever for? Kids these days, tsk, tsk. [she shakes her head and then chuckles softly]
I think that’s what Reed wants to know too, I personally think it’s something to do with the small dinosaur in the basement. -laughs- But yes, anything interesting on your end? How is the Avenging business at the moment?

This is the cover to Fantastic Four: The End #3 by Alan Davis. Now that you can see the art in full, you can see that there is a theme: the first cover is all members of the Fantastic Four (as is the final cover, as you will see), but the four covers for issues 2 to 5 are individual members of the team, which is a nice idea.
This preview alone is perfection. I cannot even begin to describe all the things I love about it.
I’m just hoping against all hope that we actually get to keep X-23: Lethal Babysitter as Laura’s new status quo moving forwards.
The nights Reed and Sue stay in, she can keep an eye on Loki.
Everyone, meet my family.
Now please take stock of whether or not you value your life or your eyebrows, either way, something gets singed.
